What we offer
We offer a FREE initial meeting with any business owner/partner/director/individual who is facing financial difficulties. We have office locations in Plymouth & St Austell or we can meet you anywhere in the South West at your business premises or at any alternative such as your accountant’s offices. We are happy to meet with you alone or along with your other advisors such as your accountant or solicitor.
There are no hidden charges. This meeting is totally free of charge wherever it is held and however long it takes and is totally confidential. We will always stick to our philosophy of giving totally impartial advice so a business has no need to be afraid of consulting us. If it transpires that a formal procedure is the best way out of the current situation then we have the expertise and the licences to implement such a procedure.
If you are in the world of finance such as a Bank, IFA or Accountant and would like a presentation as to what we do and how we can help your clients please get in touch with Lisa Thomas and she will be pleased to give you and your team a presentation, which she will keep light and as short as you like.
I can discuss with you the pros and cons of liquidation, company voluntary arrangements, administration or whether a time to pay agreement is more appropriate. All information given to me is confidential and no question is too stupid to ask. I will do the best I can to help.
I am really based in Plymouth (not a call centre with an anonymous number) and have been in practice here since 2002. I am a licensed insolvency practitioner.
How we can help
There are three types of liquidation procedures we offer advice on to Directors:
- Creditors Voluntary Liquidation
- Compulsory Liquidation
- Members Voluntary Liquidation
We can explain the pros and cons of each procedure and which is best suited to you in the current circumstances.
Neville & Co help the Directors lodge a notice of intention to appoint Administrators with the Court and send notices to any bank or third party with a debenture. Once the notice period has passed licesed Insolvency Practitioners of Neville & Co are appointed Administrators over the company.
Broadly speaking a Company Voluntary Arrangement (“CVA”) is a legally binding contract between the company and its creditors where the owners want to save the business but cannot afford to pay all of the debts due now.
When to consult us
The sooner we are consulted the sooner we are able to assist you in finding a way through the business difficulties you are facing. The later it is left, the fewer the options will be. The best time to consult is as soon as any financial difficulties become apparent.
We are a local business supporting local business covering all of Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
